Cat Adoption

Marley’s Cat Tales, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue, is dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for stray and abandoned animals, providing education on responsible pet ownership, on FIV and feline leukemia, the importance of trap-neuter-release and partnering with other rescue groups to help change the world for the animals to make their existence pain-free and full of love.

On our main website, you will find dozens of animals that are in need of their own “furrever” homes. Many of these animals have been rescued from the wild, abusive homes, pet shelters in the area – anyplace that we find an animal that desperately needs another chance at finding a good home.

Marley’s provides adoption services for cats as well as dogs. We’ll forever be known as Marley’s Cat Tales, but we all have places in our hearts for those dogs – even if some of our cats DON’T!  There are many, many tales about the roads that all of our animals have traveled to find us – and hopefully you in the end – but we urge you to take a few minutes to look around our site at http://www.marleyscattales.org and find an animal that you can take into your home and into your heart.

We have animals that are ready to fill your homes and hearts with love. They will fill your days with companionship and joy beyond what you can imagine. We also have some special cats – those that are FIV or feline leukemia positive and other animals with special needs for care or attention that need a person with an especially big heart as these animals have endless depths of love to give to the special person that falls in love with them.

We are comprised of a network of foster homes and other volunteers that rescue and care for the animals until they are adopted. We work in conjunction with other rescue groups, veterinarians and the community to educate regarding responsible pet ownership. Join us, Marley’s Cat Tales, in our mission to make the world a better place for the animals.

Marley’s Cat Tales is dedicated to giving hope to animals that they too will find this great love with you. You can see us out at local events with our gorgeous animals. You can find us regularly at Petsmart of Brier Creek, Pet Supermarket of Cary, Petco of Knightdale, Petco at SouthPointe, and regular TV spots on WRAL TV. We hold regular adoption events at all of these locations and many others. You can find our cats at all of these pet store locations every day – not just the adoption events. You can also find us at the Cat Shack at the Animall in Cary Towne Center. Please stop in and meet our beautiful and loving cats for adoption.

During these difficult economic times our furry friends are first to feel its effects. Often they are dumped in the shelters at alarming rates or abandoned in the streets. We ask that you consider donating to Marley’s Cat Tales to help all of our furry friends and help us as we continue to take in the animals that people so casually and cruelly toss aside.
